Former MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar have been named to the position of Additional Advocate General of India.The Law Ministry subsequently issued the official appointment orders.
He was appointed by the Modi government as the Additional Solicitor General of India (ASGI), representing the Government of India in the Supreme Court. The Central Government issued an official statement saying that he will continue in this position for three years. The position is recognized as one of the most prestigious judicial positions in the country.
