Arun Mummalaneni Councillor at Basingstoke's Hampshire County Council - UK

The Conservatives managed to edge out Labour in Basingstoke North West, Hampshire County Council. Arun Kumar Mummalaneni (1882 votes) defeated the Labour party's Basingstoke leader Andy McCormick (1679 votes). Arun Kumar's native place is Mynenivari palem near Repalle, AP, India.

Arun Mummalaneni (CON, Basingstoke North West) elected to HCC for the first time, and also he is the first Indian origin person elected to the Council.
